Dublin band Little Green Cars had everybody talking following the release of ‘The John Wayne’ single last year. Now preparing for the release of their album ‘Absolute Zero’ and a gig in Vicar Street in May, they have released their Harper Lee EP. This a great mix of harmonies and deep lyrics combined into one nicely crafted EP.
Northern Irish act, And So I Watch You From Afar or ASIWYFA as they are also known, are a sweet blend of instrumental rock that would probably soundtrack the end of the world if there was ever a need to. The quality of the sound on their self titled album, with special edition including The Letters EP, is simply amazing. But overall the band are just outstanding at what they do.
Manchester rockers, Everything Everything are one of my favourites at the moment. Having seen them support Snow Patrol in The O2 Dublin back in January 2012, they have since been on my music playlists. Below is two tracks from their second album, “Arc”, which has just been released.
Its been quite a year for Kerry band, Walking On Cars. Having played the Sea Sessions music festival in Bundoran, Co. Donegal during the summer, they also won the Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition. Currently writing their debut album, the band look set to take off in 2013.
Dublin band, Kodaline have been causing quite a stir in Ireland & the UK recently. They’ve even broke into the US with a small tour after their song ‘All I Want’, from their debut EP of the same name, was featured on Grey’s Anatomy. We can expect to hear more plaudits about Kodaline in the New Year.
Dublin band, This Club have been around for a while, but under the name Hoarsebox previously. Under their new name ‘This Club’, they’ve crafted catchy indie pop tunes in their debut album ‘Highlife’

The talented twins Elle & Louise or Heathers as they’re most commonly known have recently released their second album as well. You may recognise their song ‘Remember When’ from the Discover Ireland ads a while back.
